Hi Ben,

My husband and I were just invited to serve in Cameroon so I have been reading lots of blogs the past few days. What a small world it is...my husband and I are from Buffalo and are leaving in September for Cameroon to be health volunteers.

I just thought I would say hello to a fellow Buffalonian across the Atlantic. Maybe we'll see you in a few months!

Hi Ben,

today is tuesday, march 4. It's my day off and since I haven't written to you in awhile, I thought I would take some time today. It sounds like you get more familiar (used) to your life every day. that is a good thing. Once I can i commend you on having taken this step in your life. I know you are making a difference to the people of your village.

2008 didn't start out to well for us. Bob's sister was back in the hospital for double hip surgery. She was doing well for a couple of weeks and then got a staph infection that went to the blood stream and she passed away early Feb. In the meantime Uncle Bob had a gall bladder attack, had the gall bladder removed on Feb 6th and just went back to work last night since the surgery. And somewhere along the way, the empty house next to Tracey was set on fire. She had damage in her apartment due to the fire hose breaking the window in her dining room and causing some water damage. She just got her replacement window last week.

I know the rest of the year will be better! The family is good. We're all waiting for Nicole to have her baby. It should be any day now.

We saw your Mom, Dad and Liz on Sunday. Mom was in town for a Dr's appt at upstate. We went to dinner with Tom and Colleen and my family. It was quite a group. Liz spent the night at Kelly's.

We've had what I would call a mild winter. But the end of February we got the most snow that we've had, it was also very cold and then yesterday it was 50 degree's! Something's never change in CNY.

Well, I've rambled on enough. Take care and make the most of your experience. I pray that God keeps you save. You are truly an amazing person.

Love, Aunt Pat
